The 2026 program

The classicAscona 2026 program includes about fifty events. These include nineteen high-level concerts featuring symphonic and chamber music ensembles, choirs, and recitals; five concerts titled “Young Constellation” featuring outstanding young talent; and eighteen concerts (free admission) as part of the new classicAscona academy. These will be complemented by master classes and workshops ranging from choral singing to baroque music. There will also be six interdisciplinary projects combining music with literature, cuisine, and nature. Participating orchestras and ensembles include the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Camerata Salzburg, Basel Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, Il Giardino Armonico, I Barocchisti conducted by Diego Fasolis, and Tenebrae Choir London. Soloists include Cecilia Bartoli, Richard Galliano, Nemanja Radulović, and Lucas & Arthur Jussen. The three Artists in Residence 2026 are Vilde Frang, Julia Lezhneva, and Sol Gabetta.
