Ticino – A Land of Artists
One of the major highlights of the 2026 edition is the launch of the new interdisciplinary series Terra d’Artisti – Longing for Ticino.
Taking audiences beyond the concert hall, these intimate events unfold in some of the most captivating locations around Locarno, where music, literature, gastronomy and breathtaking landscapes merge into unforgettable experiences.
Among the highlights are encounters with acclaimed author Zora del Buono on Monte Verità, the Brissago Islands and at Locarno’s Castello Visconteo, exploring the enduring myth of the Gotthard. Other exceptional events include an evening of Georgian music followed by a standing dinner on the private beach of Hotel Castello del Sole, a gourmet experience with Michelin-starred chef Pietro Leemann accompanied by Baroque music in the picturesque village of Bordei (Centovalli), and a musical walk through the Alpine landscape of Vallemaggia with celebrated cellist Mario Brunello, culminating at Mario Botta’s iconic church in Mogno.

After the Concert
