Concert information
Two influential figures in Swiss literature talk about music and literature. Zora del Buono, winner of the Swiss Book Prize 2024, meets Alain Claude Sulzer, winner of the Solothurn Literary Prize. With his three-part musical and literary project “Land of Artists – Sehnsucht Ticino,” Sulzer explores the central significance of the North-South axis in Europe.
Excerpts are read from Carl Spitteler’s 1897 essay “The Gotthard” and Zora del Buono’s novella of the same name, published in 2017, a year after the opening of the base tunnel.
